Este é um livro interessante mas apenas para uso académico. O autor utiliza uma linguagem muito técnica que não aconselho a quem não conhecer bem o assunto. Podemos ver ao longo das páginas muitas comparações entre o Mitraísmo e outras religiões que faziam parte do Império Romano, algo que torna o livro bastante pesado e de difícil compreensão caso o leitor não conheça bem as outras religiões.
